Chronology: iOS 5

If alerts and sounds stop working after upgrading to iOS 5, go to Settings→Notifications and make sure that Chronology is enabled in Notification Center.

Chronology: Sound Problems

Chronology obeys the mute switch for all System Alerts and sounds, so if you're not hearing any sound, check to see if the mute switch is on. If the mute switch does happen to be off, try toggling it on and off.

Chronology: Timer Sets

New sets are created based on the properties of the current timers.

Basically your first step is to set up the current timers according to how you want the set to be: names, durations, sounds, and etc.

Click on the Timer Set button and then choose Create new set from current timers. Give the Set a name and Save.

You should then be able to load that set later.

When you save a Set, you're saving a template. After you load a Set, any changes you make to the newly loaded timers don't affect the original template. To save those changes, you'd have to save it as a new Set.

Chronology: Trigger settings

Triggers are actions that automatically begin when a (countdown) timer finishes. Triggers can:

  • Automatically scroll to a timer that finishes if it's not already visible
  • Start the next timer (timer below),
  • Automatically reset the timer when it finishes
  • If timers are set to "start the next timer", "Wrapping" causes it to keep looping through the set by starting from the top when the last timer is triggered.
